	Chargeable Time will be billed where work is not covered by a fixed fee.Where time spent on a fixed fee item exceeds 150% of the chargeable time value of that fee, the additional cost above the 150% may be charged. Ship survey fees are charged at the hourly rate for all time expended on the ship or project in question. This includes time on site, time in the office and limited travelling time during working hours.

	Surveyor Travel Costs
	In general, surveyors travel by economy class and travel time is charged out at hourly rates, subject to a maximum of 7.5 hours per day (24-hour period) of travel. For flights over four hours, the CISR will also charge rest time equal to the flight time, subject to a maximum of 7.5 hours per day’s travel. Alternatively, if a surveyor flies business class, then no rest time is charged.
